Sod can't be laid on a steep slope. Dry seed washes away. Hydroseeding is the right tool for the job — the tackifier in our slurry bonds the entire seed-and-mulch mixture to the slope face, holding it in place even through heavy rain.
We use specialized slope-stabilization seed mixes that combine fast-germinating cover crops for immediate protection with deep-rooting perennial grasses for lasting biological stabilization. The result is a vegetated slope that strengthens over time.
